Q1:How long have you been in the "scene" here in LA?
Relatively short. I moved here 5 years ago and just now finding my scene. When I first moved here there was not much going on for the music I adored but now it’s really good... it’s my home.

Q2: In your opinion, what's LA's 'edge' in the clubbing scene compared with other US cities like Miami, Detroit, New York?
I think LA is where it’s at. I may be biased because I live here and I’ve become comfortable with our scene. I've partied in a lot of cities and each has its own magic. I love Detroit for its soul and history. I love Miami for its chic and fabulous south beach style. New York is New York. The LA techno scene has matured in the last few years. There is a good crew that’s really into the party and the music.

Q3: When was your first DJ experience & who was playing?
The first time I don’t remember, I was twisted. The first memorable Dj experience was with Carl Cox. I was really young and had no clue what was going on but I was mesmerized by Carl. I stood there in awe for 3 hours watching Carl jack the decks. I've never seen energy like that. It floored me. |
Q4: If given the chance, what artists would you like to work/play with?

Q5: What projects are you currently working on?
Nothing major for music at the moment but I will. Just trying to play out more. I prefer playing few quality parties than a bunch of cheesy parties. My main job is software engineering so I’m often consumed with that. I plan to get in the studio soon and stay there. |

IThose black techno dudes in Detroit. ;) |
